Tailwind Voice & Data Becomes GlobaFone's Newest Service Partner

GlobaFone, a satellite communications service provider, has reportedly signed an agreement with TailWind Voice & Data, a full service provider of voice and data solutions, in order to offer satellite phone installations nationwide, including those that require installers with security clearances.

 

As per the terms of this agreement, GlobaFone will scope, coordinate and schedule the installations while Tailwind will perform the project tasks. GlobaFone claims that by providing nationwide installation services, it has filled a long-standing void in the Satcom world.

 

"We saw a real need and took the steps to fill the service gap," said GlobaFone chief executive officer at Lou Altman.  "I'm very pleased to introduce TailWind Voice & Data as GlobaFone's newest service partner."

 

As per this deal, TailWind will provide all satellite phones installation services and GlobaFone will refer all land-based service installations back to TailWind.
