Cordys Joins Google Enterprise Partner Program

By Jyothi Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Cordys has reportedly joined Google Enterprise Partner program, to deliver structured workflow capabilities to the Google (News - Alert) Apps suite of communication and collaboration tools.

Cordys is a provider of software for business process innovation and Enterprise Cloud Orchestration. Company’s Business Operations Platform (BOP) consists of a complete suite for next generation Business Process Management (BPM), Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) and innovative SaaS (News - Alert) Deployment Frameworks (SDF), delivering a complete Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution.

This new partnership will enable both the companies to deliver Cordys Process Factory with Google Apps Premier Edition on cloud, with messaging and collaboration solution for less money and with no software installation. In addition, the combination of the two increases the speed of deployment of workflow and situational applications for less than the price of a mobile phone.

Jan Baan, founder and CEO of Cordys said that, this solution fundamentally changes the way software will be developed and deployed. He said that, the power user has been excluded from the development of Web applications which has served to slow down the uptake of the technology at the corporate level.

He added that, this new service brings together the innovative power of their vision and technology, and combines it with innovative services in Google Apps.

According to the company, organizations of any type or size can now mix and match the existing on-premise processes run on “enterprise” applications with processes and applications made available on the Web. This solution is offered on Platform-as-a-Service basis which helps companies to rapidly build situational applications (MashApps) to instantly meet specific business needs, according to the company.

Organizations moving to these cloud based applications within a pay-as-you-go model will be able to drive down the overall IT spending, improve the IT effectiveness and increase the speed of innovation.

Scott McMullan, Google Apps Partner Lead for Google Enterprise, said: “The integration of Cordys Process Factory with Google Apps will enable our customers to create new workflows and business processes, extending the value of our applications. We're very excited to see our customers automate more of their business processes with the simplicity of browser-based cloud orchestration services.”
