TelcoBridges Speeds Up Development of Telecom Systems

By Stefania Viscusi, TMCnet Assistant Editor

A new bundled telecom platform to allow system integrators the ability to much more quickly develop applications has been announced.

The offering presents a unique approach to getting applications built in little time, and for less money then before.

The solution combines TelcoBridges (News - Alert) Inc. telecom platform and Goldway Communications Ltd.'s ExpressSCE+ (service creation environment) and SDP (Service delivery platform) and utilizes TelcoBridges Customer Care Program to allow for the creation of carrier-grade telecom systems in very short amount of time

Using the new platform, it is possible to develop and deliver solutions in just days that utilize their hardware and software platform. Instead of the usual months of development time once needed, carriers are able to now create and deploy telephony applications while reducing costs and time.

This offering also provides an advantage for system integrators who according to a news release can utilize the platform to gain a competitive market position.

Another unique aspect of the new offering is the Customer Support offering which provides support whenever it is needed as well as offers help with a walk through for the first development project.

Detailing some of the possibilities for system integrators utilizing the solution, Gaetan Campeau, President, Founder and EVP Sales of TelcoBridges commented in a statement to the press," By using out bundled offering, system integrators worldwide can rapidly develop and deploy a wide range of solutions, including IVR, prepaid/postpaid switches, media gateway, a and media server applications, as well as other in-demand value-added services (VAS) solutions, such as personalized ringback tones, (PRBT), conferencing, and background music (BGM)—many of which are already readily available, which also helps shorten the development cycle."

The offering is currently available to all existing and new customers.

Earlier this year, TelcoBridges announced  that Vertex Telecom was successfully using the TB640-DS3 System-Blade to enable its high capacity DS3 voice switching service with plans to add more DS3 blades over the course of the year.
