VoIP Solutions Provider deltathree Acquires Go2Call's Service Provider and Consumer Businesses
Deltathree Inc., a leading provider of Internet Telephony solutions to service providers, resellers and consumers worldwide, has reportedly acquired the service provider and consumer businesses of Go2Call (

Alert).com Inc., a provider of low-cost Internet phone service and international calling plans, for an indisclosed sum.
As part of the cash/stock transaction, which closed on Feb. 19, deltathree has also acquired Go2Call’s global infrastructure and customer accounts.
The acquisition will bring more customers, and hence additional revenue, to deltathree.
“This acquisition of Go2Call’s service provider and consumer VoIP
businesses represents a complementary match with deltathree’s core strategic positioning and offers another distinct path to drive revenue and earnings parallel to our organic growth initiatives,” said Shimmy Zimels, deltathree’s president and CEO, in a press release. “The agreement is a win-win for deltathree, Go2Call and their clients.”
Zimels said through the acquisition of Go2Call’s network, deltathree will be able to expand into new regions. He said deltathree “will continue to provide Go2Call's established clients with the quality and service they have come to expect.”
“With over a decade of expertise in the industry and a comprehensive strategy for growth, deltathree will provide these new clients with a smooth transition that allows them to continue to enjoy the flexibility and value of VoIP communications without interruption,” he said.
Deltathree
