NEC Forms Global Partnership Agreement with Bubble Motion to Provide BubbleTALK

NEC (News - Alert), a global provider of Advanced Telecom and IT Solutions, and Bubble Motion, a pioneer and global provider of Voice SMS, have announced the formation of a global partnership agreement.


These two key players have agreed that NEC will exclusively provide the BubbleTALK service to telecom operators in the Japanese market. Through collaboration, Bubble Motion (News - Alert) will be able to provide the underlying products, functionality and related services for BubbleTALK, while NEC provides deployment and technical support for operators in Japan.

NEC and Bubble Motion are seeking to offer BubbleTALK to telecom operators throughout the world in an effort to create synergies between BubbleTALK and NEC’s NGN products, including the NC series and IP Messaging.

BubbleTALK is designed to allow users to send short voice messages directly to the receiver’s handset and fast deployment is one of its key advantages. BubbleTALK offers interoperability such that operators can deploy within just a few weeks. The solution generally does not require additional network resources and can be deployed as a hosted service.

Other advanced features of BubbleTALK include minimal initial investment; minimal operating cost; and interconnection between operators. Bubble Motion also offers consultation and data mining services to maximize operators ROI.

A variety of case studies have demonstrated how BubbleTALK can provide an immediate lift in ARPU. With such a highly competitive market environment, mobile operators are constantly in search of new and stable revenue streams.

Bubble Motion and NEC are working together to seek to expand business in rapidly growing markets, including China, Brazil and Russia, in addition to advanced markets such as Japan.
