3CX Becomes Preferred PBX Partner of Grandstream

Grandstream Networks, a designer and manufacturer of next-generation IP voice and video products for broadband networks, has announced a strategic partnership with 3CX, the developer of the 3CX Phone System for Windows.

As per the agreement, 3CX will become one of the preferred PBX (News - Alert) partners of Grandstream, and 3CX will fully certify and integrate Grandstream’s broad portfolio of IP phones, gateways and multimedia phones. The alliance will allow customers to provision and manage Grandstream phones from the 3CX Management console.

The benefit of the integration is that the initial configuration and setup of a complete phone system will be easier, while ongoing management will be reduced, according to company officials.

3CX and Grandstream will also look at advanced feature development and providing end-to-end support to customers to ensure more satisfaction among customers.

The strategic partnership has resulted in benefits for both customers and resellers. 3CX has shipped enhanced Grandstream phone support in Service Pack 4 of 3CX Phone (News - Alert) System 9. With this shipment, it is possible to provision and manage Grandstream phones from the 3CX management console.

Grandstream has launched a reseller program allowing resellers and distributors to get rebates for selling Grandstream phones with 3CX solutions.

Grandstream is currently exhibiting at this week’s ITEXPO East 2011 in Miami, Fla. Through Friday, the company will showcase its IP multimedia phones, including the recently launched GXV3175. Come visit the company at booths # 817 and 701.

A few days ago, 3CX announced the launch of an iPhone-compatible version of its Windows-based softphone that allows users to make free VoIP calls via Wireless Fidelity (WiFi (News - Alert)) or 3G.
