Global Asterisk Support Center Intuittech Sdn Bhd's Newest Project

By Jaclyn Allard, TMCnet Copy Editor

Dr. Daniel Krahenbuhl, CEO of Intuittech Sdn Bhd, a provider of complete PBX software solutions for SMBs and enterprises and 2009 Digium (News - Alert) Innovation award-winner, has openly spoken to TMC in great detail about the benefits that a stable and flexible Asterisk (News - Alert) solution can bring to businesses of any size.

Intuittech Sdn Bhd continues to display its confidence in Asterisk solutions as it introduces Hayibo!, the first SIP Softphone application specifically written for business users. Hayibo! is built to support Asterisk-based telephony features such as Queues and Aux / Pause Codes. It is a secure, standards-based softphone that enables voice and HD (1280 x 720p) video calls.

Now, Intuittech Sdn Bhd is launching Membantu24 (membantu is the Indonesian word for Help / assist / support), the first global Asterisk support center.

Krahenbuhl had recently been asked by TMC’s CEO, Rich Tehrani (News - Alert): What barriers remain to the continued growth of Asterisk and open source? Krahenbuhl commented, “As of today, Asterisk still has no communication and marketing platform for system integration. Digium is mainly investing into PR and marketing activities related to their products in the US. These products, unfortunately, do not fit in the enterprise space. SI for Cisco (News - Alert) and Avaya has major advantages in the areas of co-sponsored events, lead generation, pre-sales support etc. Imagine that we don’t even have a global reference platform of projects, basically every Asterisk SI is on its own. This has major drawbacks.”

With its membantu24 Service, Intuittech reaches out to all asterisk users, whether they are integrators or end-users, providing 24/7 global support on all things asterisk. “Membantu24 is built to be a one stop, easy and affordable way for people to get support for their asterisk systems. Is it hardware installation problems or dialplan issues, we at membantu24 will help you.” Said CEO of Intuittech Sdn Bhd, Dr. Daniel Krahenbuhl.  “With membantu24 we want to change the support landscape for open source solutions, ISO is the first step to achieve that and give the clients a good feeling about open source in general and to know that there is affordable professional support worldwide available.”
