More At Home Workers in the U.K. Thanks to TeleTechBy Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor Further increasing the number of employees working from home in the U.K., TeleTech has announced an expansion of its TeleTech@Home solution in the country with a Global 500 communications client.
This doubles the dispersed workforce in the U.K. and allows the BPO solutions provider to offer quality customer experiences with consistent, seamless services.
The expansion of their solution in the U.K will include inbound sales management of new products for the communications clients' existing customers and @Home associates for the client's sales team.
The solution blends a virtual workplace with a traditional one and makes use of TeleTech's Workbooth delivery platform so associates can access the same training, reporting and tools as their delivery center employees.
With TeleTech@Home, it's possible to reach an even greater number of employees located across the world and certified in a number of industries. This provides a chance to tap into the flexible associate base of stay at home parents, rural workers and those with physical challenges. Having a broader, more experienced workforce means better services which, is integral to keeping customers especially in the current economic conditions.
"In a challenging global economic climate, our clients must be able to offer a higher quality customer experience as a differentiator," said Kenneth Tuchman, chairman and chief executive officer of TeleTech. "TeleTech@Home allows clients to choose from multiple workforce options, thus enabling seamless, consistent, local and global service delivery."
Earlier this year, TeleTech also announced it expanded its multiyear agreement with a Global 100 communications services provider for additional technical support, billing support, and to provide general inquiries to the client's customers.
A business services provider also said it significantly expanded its strategic agreement with TeleTech earlier this year in a bid to increase the number of BPO workstations currently supported by TeleTech in the Philippines.
