Allworx Intros 24x VoIP Phone System for SMBs
By Mae Kowalke, TMCnet Associate Editor
Allworx, a company that specializes in VoIP solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), recently announced general availability of its 24x communications systems, designed for companies with up to 100 users.
The 24x is a full-featured phone system with support for T1/ PRI, FXO, and VoIP trunking.
In a statement, Allworx CTO Jeff Szczepanski noted that T1/PRI lines are becoming affordable for SMBs, yet pricing for the telephone system residing on these networks hasn’t kept pace. Allworx is changing that with the 24x system.
Allworx’s Principal/EVP of Marketing, Sandra Gault, said that there are four main differentiators making the 24x system stand out among other SMB VoIP solutions.
- Lowest installed cost of any full-featured VoIP PBX (News - Alert)/key system
- Richest set of features available for SMBs
- Easy to install and use
- Provides flexibility needed for SMBs to transition to VoIP risk-free
Some of the 24x system features are highlighted below.
- DSS/BLF and line appearances
- Multiple conference call bridges
- Comprehensive call queuing options
- Vvoice mail
- Auto attendants
- Remote users
- Multi-site calling functions
- Integrated PC router and firewall
Pricing for Allworx’s 24x system starts at $4,000 for 24 users, and is expandable to 100 users. That translates to an average fully installed price of $450 per user.
“The 24x brings all the capabilities that businesses with up-to 100 employees need - at a price point that is simply unrivaled in the industry,” said Szczepanski.
