Kakapo Systems to Demonstrate TAPI Driver for BroadWorks VoIP Platform

VoIP client applications developer Kakapo Systems ( News - Alert) announced that it will demonstrate its Telephony Application Programming Interface (TAPI) Driver for the BroadWorks VoIP platform live at the BroadSoft Connections 2007 Executive Users Conference.
The Kakapo Systems TAPI Driver is designed to be a unified communications solution that provides screen pop-ups and click-to-dial functionality from within any TAPI-aware application.
The TAPI Driver, in conjunction with Kakapo’s Unity Client, allows service providers that use BroadSoft ( News - Alert) application to deliver to enterprise customers off-the-shelf, tightly integrated calling features within leading CRM applications.

Unity Client is a Microsoft ( News - Alert) Windows-based application that is designed to simplify the making and receiving of calls for users of BroadWorks Release 13 and above. This solution features an intuitive icon-based interface that provides point-and-click call control combined with instant messaging and presence within the familiar desktop environment.
