Raketu Communications Inc., a global Internet communications, information and entertainment company, has upgraded its LaunchPad desktop application with LaunchPad Version 2.0.

Alert), Streamed TV Content, video-on-demand and IM/SMS. Version 2.0 offers a host of new features including enhanced social networking capabilities and a detached TV-like remote control, which offers one-click IPTV
streamed channel changing and easy access to Raketu services like VoIP calling. The remote control also allows users to control the Raketu embedded player, which streams p2pTV directly into the Raketu client application. Users can also use the remote to make Rakweb and Rakout VoIP calls.
"Our new interface offers Raketu users a more flexible, easy-to-use application from which they can access not only the cost-effective communications services they rely on and use every day, but new entertainment services like live concerts, on demand movies, and even karaoke," said Greg Parker, president of Raketu, said in a press statement.
Raketu is friendly to use and runs over any Internet connection.
