pbxnsip to Feature pbxnsip IP PBX at Upcoming INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2006 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida VoIP 2.0!
CITY, ST, (January 19, 2006) — pbxnsip, Inc., today announced it will have the latest version of it’s IP PBX on display at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2006, January 24-27, 2006 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO is the nation’s premier event for showcasing leading cost-saving and cutting-edge IP telephony products and services.
“pbxnsip's participation at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO is a primary reason why this show is widely recognized as the industry’s #1 venue to test, compare, and learn about the benefits and cost-savings inherent in IP telephony products and services,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC President and conference chairman. “The evolution in this industry has been monumental and it still continues to grow. We are proud to have pbxnsip and its SIP-based IP PBX as a key part of this year’s program.”
Aimed at small- to medium-sized enterprises, available for Windows and Linux, the pbxnsip IP PBX provides advanced phone system and messaging functionality in a VoIP or hybrid environment. The application can be licensed as software-only, starting at only $599 for a 100 extension license (SME version, Windows 32). A 50-extension licensed version is also available preinstalled on a pbxnsip Flash-memory-equipped Linux appliance platform. Depending on licensing and platform configuration, the same core software can serve as a premise IP PBX, or can be hosted offsite, letting ITSPs, VoIP trunking and similar providers offer a complete hosted PBX solution with integrated voice messaging and conferencing, at low cost. To address NAT issues, the product includes a mini-session border controller that allows the PBX to run on multiple-homed devices and register with ITSPs that do not properly support NAT. The pbxnsip IP PBX also supports privacy features making it very hard for current and anticipated packet-sniffing tools to intercept traffic in the enterprise network.
"We're pleased to be introducing the pbxnsip IP PBX to TMC's audience at Internet Telephony Expo," said Kevin Moroz, VP Sales, pbxnsip. "And to demonstrate the superior level of functionality, open standards support and security embodied in this paradigm-shifting product."
