BlueNote Networks to Co-Host SOA and IP Telephony Session at ITEXPO East
By Mae Kowalke, TMCnet Associate Editor
What business doesn’t want to become more efficient and responsive to its customers? Modern technology is making those goals more achievable than ever, and nowhere is that more apparent in the realm of Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs), an increasingly popular way of building communications systems.
What’s behind the SOA industry growth? Quite simply, the ability of SOAs to deliver greater agility, improved alignment between business and IT, and effective reuse of software assets. In fact, the business value of SOAs is outpacing that of traditional telecom investments.
Among the presenters of the session—scheduled for 1:30-2:15 p.m. on January 25—is Mark Ericson, director of technology and product strategy at BlueNote Networks, a company that specializes in SOA solutions. The session will examine SOA benefits and how companies can maximize the business value of their communications systems.
Attendees will learn methods for leveraging IP telephony to take advantage of existing processes, the business benefits of tying IP telephony to enterprise applications, and
how a SOA can positively impact business communication processes.
Even more information about how SOAs and IP telephony are transforming businesses is available on BlueNote Networks’ TMCnet.com channel, SOA.
