Vital Communications is Now SIP Print Distributor

By Jai C.S., TMCnet Contributing Editor

SIP Print, a provider of affordable telephony applications and a creator of the SIP-based VoIP call recording platform, has signed a distribution agreement with Vital Communications, Inc., a national value added distributor (VAD) of small to medium-sized business (SMB) and enterprise-class telecommunications solutions.

The agreement has opened up an opportunity for SIP Print to establish its distribution channel in North America. Vital Communications is now authorized as a national distributor and the company can now offer SIP Print products and solutions to SMBs through reseller partners in the continental United States, Puerto Rico and Hawaii.

“We are delighted to partner with Vital Communications as a key national distributor to help expand our presence and support the market demand for our unique call recording appliances in North America,” said Don Palmer, president of SIP Print.

“Vital Communications is highly focused on the technologies that make businesses more productive, and offer the proven capacity to attract new channel partners. Our relationship with Vital Communications offers our reseller community an outstanding opportunity to better serve the needs of their customers,” added Palmer.

SIP Print has been offering system-level SIP voice recording for SMB and larger organizations where there is a requirement to record from 15 to 200 seats per location. SIP Print’s platform can also record advanced functions like voicemail or “follow-me” calls forwarded to mobile phones or off-premise phone numbers.

SIP Print is compatible with several VoIP systems including; Allworx, Aastralink, Altigen, Avaya IP Office, Avaya Distributed Office, Cisco, Fonality, Mitel, NEC 8100, NEC 8300, Nortel, ShoreTel (News - Alert), Toshiba, Zultys and 3Com.

The agreement will enable Vital Communications to leverage its value-added infrastructure to offer SIP Print resellers additional sales support, product management, product training and operational capabilities. Moreover, it will also leverage its distribution relationships with other VoIP equipment providers thereby providing a wider market opportunity for SIP Print.

“Businesses across the spectrum are increasingly turning to VoIP-based communications systems, and more and more of those firms have recognized the critical need to record their calls for training, quality assurance purposes or for regulatory compliance,” said Walter B (News - Alert). Maclay, chief executive officer at Vital Communications.

SIP Print recently released a call recording platform designed specifically for SMBs. In September, 2008, the company was awarded the prestigious "Best of Show" award for Editor's Choice at the Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC (News - Alert)) INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO West 2008 in Los Angeles, California. In the event, SIP Print had showcased its VoIP call recording appliances.
