Dirigo Telecommunications "Intelligent Assistant" at ITEXPO
By Stefania Viscusi, TMCnet Assistant Editor
As visitors of the Internet Telephony Conference and EXPO EAST make their way around an exhibit hall jam packed with all the latest in IP , a newly renamed, Dirigo Telecommunications is showcasing their Intelligent Assistant, a part of their iQueue offering.
Dirigo iQueue combines PBX ( News - Alert) features and ACD solutions to provide small and medium-sized businesses with a customer contact offering for enhanced and cost efficient customer service.
The Intelligent Assistant is a call routing system that features a rules-based engine to ensure all calls are handled properly, and provides businesses with options for communicating with their customers, regardless of their location.
"The feature allows an office phone to be wherever an employee is – on a business laptop, on a home computer or in a client's office. We truly believe that this is the future of business communications," Bill Hunt, president and COO of Dirigo Telecommunications commented in a statement.
In a chat with Rich Tehrani just yesterday at the show, Hunt discussed Intelligent Assistant, commenting on what sets it apart from the competition and stating his belief that they have, "the only PBX on the market with third party call control" adding that the "call control looks like first party to the user."
At the Internet Telephony Conference and EXPO WEST, held this past October in Santa Clara, California, Dirigo previewed the iQueue and took home a "Best in Show" award for the offering.
