VoIP solutions provider IPcelerate Inc. has reportedly signed a Gold Partnership agreement with Getronics, a global leader in workspace ICT services, to offer VoIP solutions to businesses in Mexico.

The deal means Getronics can now provide its clients with IPcelerate’s VoIP solutions, including dial-out capabilities, paging, conferencing, on-demand recording, customized dashboards and video surveillance.

“Gold Partners receive on-site training, an enhanced level of technical support, and increased revenue opportunity,” said Jorge Peraza, IPcelerate’s regional sales manager for Latin America, in a press release. “These benefits will allow Getronics to offer their clients more compelling solutions and a higher level of service.”

IPcelerate specializes in custom IP telephony solutions which can be integrated with existing systems and technologies. The company claims its solutions work with existing infrastructure and therefore can be implemented with minimal investment in hardware. Examples of business impacting solutions include personnel safety, improved employee productivity, asset protection, supply chain management and increased situational awareness.

Dallas-based IPcelerate made news on TMCnet in September when it announced the launch of a bundled IP communications solution designed for K-12 schools and school districts. The pre-integrated, pre-configured solution addresses a range of school administration needs, including enhanced communications between teachers and parents, and real-time awareness for staff members to quickly respond to emergency situations.

The company also made news in August when it announced the launch of a similar bundled IP communications solution for government agencies.
