TowneBank Embraces CRM & SFA Technology with CoreTrac's ResourceOne

CoreTrac, Inc., a provider of ResourceOne, or "R1," the easy-to-use and affordable CRM or sales force automation, or "SFA," software solution specifically architected for community financial institutions, has added TowneBank as a new customer that will implement and utilize ResourceOne as an integral part of their sales and service culture.




Towne Bank, headquartered in Portsmouth, Virginia, offers a full array of financial services including insurance, investments, mortgage, title insurance, real estate services, and more.

Officials with CoreTrac said that using the company's ResourceOne, TowneBank employees will now be able to develop deeper insight into their clients' needs, preferences, and influences as well as track employee performance.

"Since the cornerstone of our business is building lasting relationships with our members, the need for a centralized solution was an important factor in choosing ResourceOne," said Julie Lineberry, senior vice president, operations administration at TowneBank, in a statement, adding that with CoreTrac's ResourceOne, the company anticipates having a holistic view of all relationships which will enable to offer customized products and information when they are needed.

According to Executive Vice President at CoreTrac, Inc., Alan Buhler, in today's challenging economic conditions, the banking sector has become increasingly competitive.

Buhler said that long-term customer retention and development of new revenue sources are critical for success. Community financial institutions need to focus on providing a personal touch while understanding and meeting their individual client's financial needs, he said.

"ResourceOne is tailor-made to help community financial institutions like TowneBank get that job done, and gain optimum performance results, institution wide, on a day-to-day basis," Buhler said.

In February, CoreTrac announced the signing of its newest client, Lewis & Clark Bank.
