Pay-as-You-Grow Call Recording from Telrex
By Stefania Viscusi, TMCnet Assistant Editor
Call recording provider Telrex ( News - Alert) is making it more cost effective for hosted IP PBX and hosted call center service providers to offer call recording and monitoring with a new "Pay-As-You-Grow" SaaS ( News - Alert) licensing option for their CallRex hosted IP call recording and monitoring software.
The new offering will make it possible to deploy CallRex, a suite of IP call recording and call center optimization solutions, with no upfront cost for the software and only monthly payments for the number of licenses in use.
As call recording becomes a standard feature, businesses are making use of the technology to train their employees, meet regulatory compliance needs and for dispute resolution.
The CallRex Hosted architecture offers hosted call recording solutions while removing the risk of interfering with or interrupting the service providers' phone services while passively monitoring VoIP traffic.
Commenting on the new pricing model, Robert Kapela ( News - Alert), President of Telrex said, "Service providers offering hosted IP PBX and hosted call centers services typically face large upfront capital costs to develop and deploy new services. Now with Telrex’s ‘pay as you grow’ licensing option, service providers can offer call recording and monitoring without risking the upfront investment.”
Telrex also recently announced CallRex Multi-Media 3.7. The software, optimized for both formal and informal contact centers, offers not only improvements in employee performance and training but also a more complete picture of customer interactions and is an integrated companion module to CallRex Professional IP call recording and monitoring software.
