Loquendo Updates VoiceXML/CCXML PlatformBy Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor A speech technologies provider and Telecom Italia (News - Alert) company headquartered in Turin, Italy, has announced the release of version 7.0.26 of the company’s VoiceXML/CCXML platform.
Officials with Loquendo (News - Alert) say this latest version of their VoxNauta platform includes increased density, an enriched VoiceXML service log and improved protocol support.
Using the platform, it’s possible to develop multilingual, multi-voice IVR systems and speech-enabled applications using the VoiceXML (News - Alert) 2.0 and 2.1 and CCXML 1.0 Web-based architectures.
The increased density feature offers up to 240 simultaneous channels per server in IVR and IVR-plus-TTS configurations as well as up to 120 simultaneous channels per server in full-dialogue configuration.
The platform is also is multi OS - so it is available for both Windows and Linux and enables access via traditional telephony or VoIP, as well as support for all major standards in speech.
In addition, the platform is available standalone or with the company’s ASR and/or TTS solutions.
Recently, Loquendo also announced the release of version 7.1.2 of the company’s MRCP Server with support for Linux operating systems and wideband audio support. Also, the company recently announced Loquendo TTS - version 7.7, which boasts improved audio quality and a smaller footprint.
