InsideView Integrates SalesView to Oracle CRM On Demand

By Shamila Janakiraman, TMCnet Contributing Editor

InsideView  has announced the integration of SalesView to Oracle (News - Alert) CRM On Demand in support of  Oracle’s CRM On Demand Inner Circle Partner initiative.

SalesView is a socialprise application which is designed to collect and scan subscription-based sources and the unstructured information available on the social Web. This enables sales people to get insights necessary for improving their business.

“Our product management team has thoroughly reviewed the partner ecosystem for the most synergistic solutions from our partners,” commented Julie Adams, Vice President CRM On Demand Products at Oracle. “We believe InsideView, as part of the Oracle CRM On Demand Inner Circle Partner Initiative, will provide our customers and prospects complementary value-added functionality in the ‘socialprise’ arena.”

This integration with InsideView will allow Oracle CRM On Demand customers to make use of InsideView’s data which was collected, distilled and customized from more than 20,000 information sources from the social Web. This helps arrive at actionable opportunities and rapidly increases productivity.

According to Paul Greenberg, author of the best-selling ‘CRM at the Speed of Light’, this InsideView-Oracle effort is indicative of the shift seen towards social CRM in the industry. This kind of integration provides a true set of CRM 2.0 related tools which enable sales people to find relevant data on the Social Web and helping them to zero-in on probable customers resulting in successful sales.

SalesView offers social data with enterprise-grade business search and intelligence capabilities which enable sales teams to automate prospecting, leading to faster sale cycles and deal closures. Web harvesting techniques assisted by specialized research providers and social networks results in more relevant data in SalesView suited for enterprise applications like sales force automation systems.
