FaxCore Taking Fax over IP to the Virtual Environment While FaxCore Executive Taking to the ITEXPO Stage

By Jaclyn Allard, TMCnet Copy Editor

In a series of articles TMC’s (News - Alert) Group Editorial Director, Erik Linask commented on the many fax solutions available, which all have something to offer; however, the key lies in determining which features are critical to your organization as a starting point and which are nice-to-haves. Linask’s second contribution to the study of available fax solutions extended the conversation to a cost benefit model, focusing on implementation scenarios that can save businesses bundles in operating expenses.

With all of this in mind, Faxcore, a provider of fax server applications designed to work in conjunction with existing technologies and provide seamless integration with fax machines and computers, has kept a close eye on the industry, planning to offer solutions critical to organizations, nice-to-have and cost-effective. Therefore, FaxCore (News - Alert) is pleased to reveal its Virtual FaxCore Server Appliance (VFS Appliance) product line.

Erik Linask, taking a moment at ITEXPO EAST 2011 in Miami Beach to sit down with FaxCore’s Senior Vice President, Max Schroeder (News - Alert), was able to ask Schroeder about the new Virtual FaxCore Server Appliance. Schroeder commented, “During one of our think-of-the-box strategy sessions we realized that with so many organization moving to a virtual environment we needed to free our product line from the BOX entirely.”

It was just at ITEXPO (News - Alert) West that FaxCore indicated that the industry is moving away from premise based solutions into software as service and hosted management models. “So our resellers can sell the product to a company that has one or more location anywhere in the world and the product can be sold and maintained by that seller, the days of going to that customer office are numbered,” Schroeder had said in a statement.

The VFS Appliance packages are specifically intended for deployment in a virtual environment. Physical servers are not required, but the convenience of FaxCore’s appliance product lines bundled with physical servers remains. The VFS models are e-delivered and installed remotely by FaxCore support engineers. The VFS Appliances include FaxCore Standard Server License or Enterprise Server License, unlimited user accounts, remote installation, first year of maintenance, and Dialogic SR140 Drivers.

FaxCore and Schroeder will be contributing to ITEXPO East’s Unified Communications (News - Alert) Day, Feb.3, in a session about Fax-over-IP.

To find out more about FaxCore, visit the company at ITEXPO East 2011. To be held Feb. 2-4 in Miami, ITEXPO is the world’s premier IP communications event. Visit FaxCore in booth No. 624. Don’t wait. Register now.
