ITEXPO East 2010: BroadSoft Discusses Enterprise Benefits of Integrated Solutions and IP

BroadSoft, Inc., a provider of VoIP applications to the telecommunications industry, is taking advantage of the opportunities at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East this week to discuss how enterprises can benefit from an integrated communications solution and leverage the powerful productivity tools available through IP technology.


To present its views on the future of IP communications, BroadSoft joins Polycom, Verizon (News - Alert), AudioCodes and other industry leaders in specific panels scheduled at ITEXPO East.

The panel, 'The Evolution of Enterprise Telecommunications' will focus on what enterprises and the service providers that support them should expect in relation to terms of service evolution in the near future. A number of critical trends are influencing enterprise communications, such as the growing importance of employee mobility and the movement toward integrating voice services with cloud-based applications.

BroadSoft is scheduled to outline how enterprises can increase efficiency and service providers can enhance the value of their service offerings by adopting these technologies and easily integrating them into their current infrastructure.

'What does IP Communications Enable in the Contact Center?' is a session that will dive into the business benefits and technological advantages of IP communications for a contact center. BroadSoft plans to outline the benefits of a fully “UC-enabled” call center and how the Automatic Call Distribution “ACD” service can provide a unified experience to both the agent and the organization.

BroadSoft is also participating in the ITEXPO Voice App Contest in which TMC is partnering with the organizers of StartupCamp Telephony and The Cloud Communications Summit to host this inaugural voice application contest. The new event will bring together communications mashups from various voice developer communities.
