Aastra Introduces MX-ONE IP-PBX in CanadaBy Jyothi Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor Aastra, a Canadian-based global provider of enterprise telephony communications equipment, applications and solutions, has introduced the company’s MX-ONE call control manager into the Canadian market.
According to Yves Laliberte, executive vice president at Aastra (News - Alert) Canada, “New channel partners, especially those with IT and UC-oriented expertise, will be given our full support to adopt this new solution.”
The MX-ONE is a scalable solution supporting variety of standards based communications protocols like SIP on both extension and trunk lines and is available with a wide variety of terminals (SIP, IP, SIP-DECT (News - Alert) and Digital ) and advanced applications such as Solidus eCare solution for contact centers, and Contact Management Suite. For small and medium-sized businesses, this offers a cost effective way to get all the benefits of a full-featured and scalable enterprise grade solution for deployments up to 300 extensions.
Mark Marshall, vice president of Canadian Enterprise Sales at Aastra said, 'Aastra is committed to an indirect go to market model in Canada for enterprise customers. Our 'High-touch channel fulfilment' model will also benefit our channel partners.”
Marshall said that they are looking to expand Aastra's channel partner team in Canada and are encouraged by the level of interest from prospective partners.
“Our new partner program makes it easy for partners to do business with Aastra while making it financially rewarding to do so,' Marshall said.
The company also announced that it has scheduled a series of open house events at its corporate headquarters in Toronto during February to introduce its MX-ONE to channel partners, consultants and prospective clients.
