Camrivox Preparing for High Profile at Digium|Asterisk WorldBy Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor Unified Communications innovator Camrivox (News - Alert) is schedule to be a key speaker at Digium|Asterisk World, an event co-located with ITEXPO East at Miami Beach Convention Center.
Camrivox, also a developer of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI (News - Alert)) software for the SME market will discuss how the company’s Flexor CTI software is extending Asterisk into the world of contact management and CRM.
“We are bringing to Digium|Asterisk a highly compelling product that is right for this economic environment and that builds on the ethos of open-source telephony to deliver extremely cost effective and scalable CTI,” said Malcolm Wood (News - Alert), CEO of Camrivox.
The Flexor CTI integrates with Asterisk-based PBXs to provide handset-agnostic CTI, uniquely installed direct to a user’s PC.
The idea behind the integrations is to provide users a high ROI when combining their telephony with applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Outlook, according to Wood.
“We’re excited to be part of Digium|Asterisk World, and look forward to spreading the Asterisk word to the wider ITEXPO (News - Alert) community.”
”CTI & CRM Extending Asterisk out to the Desktop” can be seen at the Digium World Theater, at 14:00 Eastern Time on Tuesday February 3, 2009. Camrivox will also be demonstrating Flexor CTI [Asterisk Edition] on their booth located at D-03 from February 2 to February 4.
