OpenVox Joins Fonality Authorized Certified EcosystemBy Michelle Robart, TMCnet Editor The global provider of open source asterisk telephony hardware and software solutions, OpenVox Communication Company, announced today that it has enrolled in FACE (Fonality (News - Alert) Authorized Certified Ecosystem), a program that certifies third-party products for its trixbox CE, trixbox Pro and PBXtra so customers and resellers can deploy them with confidence.
OpenVox telephony cards have all been FACE certified and are field-ready for implementation with trixbox CE, the most successful Asterisk (News - Alert)-based distribution that is downloaded an average of 125,000 times a month.
“OpenVox has been in business for over six years and always brings the most cost-effective telephony hardware to the open source community,” stated Miao Lin, president of OpenVox. “FACE certification for all OpenVox hardware products allows us to provide better telephony interface cards for trixbox CE, as well as extended trixbox support for our customers.”
“trixbox CE is an open source telephony platform that has been implemented globally by thousands of businesses,” said Chris Vuillaume (News - Alert), Fonality vice president of business development and channels. “Our goal is to make a broad array of compliant hardware available so OpenVox is an important addition to the FACE program.”
Fonality FACE partners supply the highest quality technology and the deepest integration with the trixbox CE platform. Fonality gives support discounts and incentives to resellers and IT consultants who choose FACE-certified hardware products when building Fonality phone systems for their customers.
The OpenVox product line includes PCI, PCI Express and Mini PCI versions of T1/E1, PRI/BRI/GSM/FXO/FXS VoIP telephony interface cards. In addition, OpenVox provides a three-month “no questions asked” return policy for all its hardware. For more info of OpenVox, please visit www.openvox.com.cn.
