ITEXPO: IVR Technologies Partners With Voxbone to Deliver Global SIP Trunking Solution
By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor
IVR Technologies Inc. and Voxbone announced today at ITEXPO, the companies have joined forces to provide local, 800 and iNum access to IVR Technologies’ Talking SIP (News - Alert) Enhanced services platform, as well as its real-time SIP Trunking services.
Both IVR Technologies and Voxbone are exhibiting their solutions this week at ITEXPO West 2010 from Oct. 4 to 6 in Los Angeles, Calif. Officials with IVR Technologies can be located at booth #231 and Voxbone (News - Alert) at booth #527.
IP-based enhanced services and real-time billing solutions software developer, IVR Technologies provides the Talking SIP real-time SIP Trunking module for next-generation network operators to gain the ability to provision inbound and/or outbound virtual trunks. This provisioning helps to minimize risk and maximize revenue for customers with fractional configurations for cost-effective access/termination, single-number granularity for capacity throttling and routing, and real-time AAA services.
Voxbone, a provider of telephone numbers to communications service providers and businesses throughout the world, offers local, 800 and iNum (News - Alert) services. When these offerings are coupled with the Talking SIP solutions, customers gain access to consumer and enterprise-level enhanced services that deliver local presence and identity.
“With access to our DIDs and origination network built into Talking SIP, IVR Technologies’ operator customers have a complete, quick-response solution,” said Rod Ullens, Voxbone CEO, in a statement. “They also have global inbound coverage through one SIP trunk.”
The Trunking module is designed to provide real-time authentication, authorization, rating, routing and billing. As a result, providers gain the flexibility to service a broad range of customers with the comfort and assurance that real-time safeguards are in place to combat fraud, eliminate receivables and minimize exposure. The field-proven solution is both reliable and scalable.
IVR Technologies’ Trunking module also offers creative rules-based billing and support for third-party, least-cost routing (LCR) services, while also allowing providers to create highly competitive plans to attract customers, while also reducing costs and increasing profit margins. By supporting a release-link Trunking option utilizing Talking SIP’s real-time authentication, the Trunking module helps to validate the call and then transfer the call to another endpoint for termination and billing.
“Teaming with Voxbone brings significant value to our customers through a rich set of local, 800 and iNum access and provisioning capabilities, allowing for the delivery of SIP Trunking and enhanced services from all around the world with in-country presence and identity,” said Barry Sher (News - Alert), vice-president of business development, IVR Technologies, Inc.
“In today’s competitive landscape, carriers need to enhance their retail, enterprise and wholesale service offerings with infrastructure that delivers these services reliably and in a proven, scalable and field-hardened configuration. This solution provides this, without physical limitations or geographic boundaries.”
Also, yesterday at ITEXPO (News - Alert), TMCnet reported that IVR Technologies announced the release of its real-time SIP Trunking module. This latest module has been developed to seamlessly integrate with the company’s Talking SIP platform, which is expected to add to its robust suite of innovative and revenue driving applications.
