VoIP Equipment Buyback Program Helps Businesses Reclaim Technology Investments

In a bid to help businesses survive in today’s economy and recapitalize on their existing equipment investments as well make new investments in VoIP technology, a Buffalo, N.Y.-based supplier of VoIP equipment recently announced a buyback program.

 

Officials with VoIP Supply said the new “Reclaim” equipment buyback program makes it possible for companies and individuals to sell their used or excess VoIP equipment in exchange for store credit or a direct payout.

 

Garrett Smith (News - Alert), director of Marketing and Business Development at VoIP Supply told TMCnet in an interview that the value for participants is the easy, hassle-free sales process, fair market value they receive for equipment and the expertise of the company.

Through Reclaim, Smith said, companies will find a creative avenue to “maximize the budget available for new technology purchases” because they can “reclaim” some of the investment they’ve already made in existing infrastructure by selling that product back to VoIP Supply.

“While the economy has shown positive signs of rebounding, many customers have learned from the recent economic events - especially those who are looking to make investments in technologies such as VoIP. This has, and will continue to lead to an environment in which companies are looking to stretch every budgetary nickel, evaluate all of the possible avenues and of course, be creative in how they achieve their goals.”

 

A recent report from Infonetics Research (News - Alert) notes that the VoIP equipment market will continue to hold steady with healthy growth in the near future as a result of more VoIP services being adopted and service providers migrating VoIP services to IMS networks.
