Nexus Telecom of Brazil Relies on VocalTec for VoIP

Nexus Telecom (News - Alert), a Brazilian CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) and VoIP operator has selected and deployed VocalTec’s (News - Alert) Essentra VoIP Peering and Trunking, in partnership with HiSecur, a successful Brazilian Telecom Systems Integrator.
VocalTec Communications is one of the global providers of carrier-class multimedia and voice-over-IP solutions for communication service providers.
One of the pioneers in VoIP technology since 1994, VocalTec provides proven trunking, peering and residential/enterprise VoIP application solutions that enable flexible deployment of next-generation networks (NGNs).
The project includes the deployment of VocalTec’s Essentra CX, Trunking solution and Essentra EX, VoIP Peering (News - Alert) Manager.
"We required a field-proven VoIP solution that would enable us to expand our international services in a cost-effective manner, without compromising quality of service," Alexandre F. Luvizuto, vice president at Nexus Telecom said in a press release.
