PRC Call Center Celebrates 10th Anniversary in West MifflinBy Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor PRC, an Alorica Inc. company, has announced that the company will celebrate its 10th anniversary as a member of the West Mifflin community at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10. PRC is an outsourced Business Solutions Provider globally delivering Customer Management and Sales and Marketing services on behalf of leading brands. To support nonprofit service organizations in the Allegheny County area through PRC Community Care, local employees will pledge to contribute an additional 500 hours of community service and raise an additional $5,000 as part of the celebration. PRC employees will participate in a specific volunteer activity, raise money or collect items for donation to local organizations every month throughout 2010. “We've been very active over the past few years, raising funds for the Children’s Home of Pittsburgh, the Brother’s Brother Foundation, the Rainbow Kitchen and the United Way," said Kathy Esposito, Regional General Manager of the Company’s Eastern Region. "We're looking forward to working with several new organizations this year and we hope our example will encourage individuals and other companies to follow suit.” Offering opportunities for up to 150 job seekers in the area, PRC officials will also announce the company's hiring plans for the remainder of 2010 during the August 10th event. Handling in-bound customer service calls for clients in the telecommunications and financial industries, the company's bustling call center currently employs over 450. PRC West Mifflin has been honored as Employer of the Year by the Mon Valley Initiative and has been awarded the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Governor’s Employer of Honor Award in the past. Recently, PRC announced that the company will mark its fourth anniversary as a member of the Durant community with a celebration at 10 a.m. on June 10th at the PRC offices at 1012 Radio Road. Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor Jari Askins, State Senator Jay Paul Gumm, State Representative John Carey, and Durant Mayor Jerry Tomlinson will join PRC in celebrating its anniversary.
