UCB Relies on Blackbaud CRM Solution for Building Stronger Relation with Alumni, Donors, Parents

Blackbaud is the leading global provider of software and services designed specifically for nonprofit organization. Its client base includes the likes of Approximately 22,000 organizations -- including University of Arizona Foundation, American Red Cross, Cancer Research UK, The Taft School, Lincoln Center, In Touch Ministries, Tulsa Community Foundation, Ursinus College, Earthjustice, International Fund for Animal Welfare, and the WGBH Educational Foundation.




The company has been helping the non-profit organizations make a difference in their local communities and worldwide and has recently been selected by University of British Columbia, or “UBC,” as its new organization-wide relationship management system. This leading Canadian public research university with campuses in Vancouver and Kelowna, British Columbia, will use the solution to improve collaboration, development and engagement programs, steward donors and alumni, and cultivate support.

“We were very impressed with the way Blackbaud Enterprise CRM integrates our alumni engagement and fundraising outreach efforts into one complete system,” Barbara Miles, UBC vice president of development and alumni engagement said. “We also saw that Blackbaud offered a technology partnership that would help UBC achieve sustainable success over the long term,” Miles added.
 
UBC clearly makes a valuable addition to Blackbaud’s presitigious client list. Established in 1908, UBC educates a student population of 50,000, has 250,000 alumni in 120 countries, and holds an international reputation for excellence in advanced research and learning. The institution is undergoing a process of accommodating the Development and Alumni Engagement portfolio's shift to a new constituent-centric business model. As apart of this initiative, the team is launching a project to transform its business processes and technologies.

With Blackbaud Enterprise CRM, under their disposal, the UBC team will be able to provide enhanced reporting and business intelligence and will quickly be able to analyze and track participation rates, marketing response, and overall programmatic ROI.
 
The solution is also designed to improve data integrity and sharing, empower end-users with campaign planning and reporting tools, and provide a holistic view of constituents, so the University can better serve their needs.
 
Built on a .NET (News - Alert) technology platform with standards-based technology, Blackbaud Enterprise CRM is easily customizable, so additional modules can be added to support users’ specific needs.
 
After partnering with over 1,900 universities, colleges, and foundations worldwide, Blackbaud is now going to help in UBC’s initiatives for building strong relationships with alumnae/alumni, students, parents, and supporters.
