Veraz Network, Inc. announced that its Veraz ControlSwitch USC has been named the recipient of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine’s 2007 Product of the Year Award. INTERNET TELEPHONY is the VoIP

The Veraz Controlswitch USC is an IMS

core which allows service providers to speed up their services hence realizing greater revenue as it helps quick creation and delivery of services. It also allows easy migration from traditional voice networks to IMS network services architecture efficiently without affecting the service delivery, said Veraz in a press release.
Using the new switch a network can adopt multimedia applications which combine voice, messaging and web content rapidly. The ControlSwitch being scalable is most suitable for initial deployments and expansions. The distributed, programmable, modular architecture has open interfaces for media devices, application servers and back-office systems.
