ESI Communications Servers Now Certified as Interoperable with Broadvox SIP Trunks

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Estech Systems Inc. and Broadvox have announced successful interoperability between ESI Communications Servers and Broadvox (News - Alert) SIP trunks. As a result, ESI is now part of a growing list of companies offering products certified through Broadvox’s (News - Alert) rigorous process.

With this certification, ESI (News - Alert) can provide more opportunities for customized solutions for businesses, no matter their size. As the competitive landscape changes, companies need access to solutions that are flexible and scalable.

Companies will benefit from the combination of the Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking and the ESI Communications Servers. ESI Communications Servers are designed to be compact and powerful to deliver standards-based technology in a flexible, easy-to-use and cost-effective package.

"ESI and Broadvox work to provide customers the opportunity to choose when and just how much IP technology is right for their business," said Pete Sandrev, Broadvox's vice president of customer experience, in a Wednesday statement. "Both Broadvox and ESI strive to deliver cost-effective solutions to their customers who are ready for the communications functionality and flexibility enjoyed by businesses that migrate to IP communications."
"ESI is excited to receive certification from an industry leader like Broadvox," added Doug Boyd, ESI's President and chief operating officer, in the Wednesday statement. "Throughout the development of our SIP trunking capabilities, ESI engineers have been working closely with Broadvox to successfully complete the extensive certification process to ensure 'real-world' system operation.”

“Broadvox is an acknowledged ITSP leader with a robust network, and we are confident that our customers will appreciate the unparalleled services available from Broadvox," Boyd said.

There are a variety of solutions to choose from when opting to go with the ESI Communications Server. Models range in call-handling capacity from the ESI-1000 to the ESI-50. As a result, IP communications solutions are available to companies that range in size from SMBs to enterprises. There servers are also fully flexible platforms that are able to support digital technology and IP-to-the-desktop in any combination.

With the Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking product line, businesses have access to continuity during a crisis or growth, as well as unlimited geographical distribution to eliminate or reduce the number of PRIs and branch-office PBXs.

This interoperability is significant not only for Broadvox and ESI, but also for the companies that they serve. These innovative technologies deliver advancements that can help weather this down economy, driving efficient business processes.
