Rechargeable Battery Company PowerGenix Appoints New CFO

PowerGenix, a San Diego-based high tech company, develops high-rate discharge, sealed rechargeable nickel-zinc (NiZn) batteries. Recently, the company announced that it has appointed Terance Kinninger as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
Kinninger holds a bachelor of science degree from Miami University in Ohio. With more than 20 years of all-round executive experience in life sciences, software and technology industries for venture capital funded and NASDAQ publicly traded companies, Kinninger has participated as a CFO, raising a sum of approximately 200 million through IPOs, venture capital initiatives and debt financings.
Kinninger brings to the CFO position at PowerGenix a vast experience in mergers and acquisitions, having supervised a dozen M&A transactions worth over $500 million in value. In his last assignment, Kinninger served as the CFO and Executive VP (Business Development) of R2 Technology, a venture backed medical device company that sold for more than $200 million.
Kinninger also served as an executive for several NASDAQ publicly-traded and privately held companies, such as, Bridge Medical as CFO and COO, Integral Systems ( News - Alert) as CFO and VP (Administration), Delphi Information Systems as CFO and Senior VP (Corporate Development), MetaCreations as CFO and Senior VP (Operations), and WebSideStory as CFO. Additionally, Kinninger worked as a CPA and auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers ( News - Alert).
