Aastra to Take Part in SIP Trunk-UC Summit at ITEXPO

Aastra, a company serving the enterprise communication market offering IP telephony and Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions, announced its participation in the SIP Trunk-Unified Communications Summit at ITEXPO East 2011 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Fla.

As stated, Gary Mading, senior product manager at Aastra (News - Alert), will be presenting at ITEXPO. Sponsored by Ingate Systems with TMC, these educational seminars are said to bring together leading IP-PBX vendors, SIP trunking service providers and industry thought leaders to provide a comprehensive overview of SIP trunking and Unified Communications with key issues faced by enterprises, carriers and VARs today.

Mading's presentation will include two sessions; "Building for ROI" on Feb. 2, at 10 a.m., will cover a large enterprise migration to SIP and SIP trunking, benefits and considerations; and "Enterprise-Centric Unified Communication" on Feb. 3, at 2 p.m., will discuss the opportunities for Unified Communication deployments in the enterprise.

In addition, Mading has also agreed to participate in two Town Hall panel meetings on SIP, UC and Security and Unified Communications.
