ContactLab Selects Message Systems for Enhancing SMS Communications

By Raja Singh Chaudhary, TMCnet Contributor

Message Systems, a provider of message management solutions and services, announced that ContactLab, a provider of solutions and consultancy relating to e-mail, text messaging and digital direct marketing, has selected its Mobile Momentum solution, which will enable the Italy-based company to integrate its messaging channels into a comprehensively managed system.

Solutions offered by Message Systems help marketing service providers (MSP), e-mail service providers (ESP) carriers and Internet service providers (ISP), social networks and large enterprises in managing large volumes of business-critical e-mail and other forms of digital messaging.

Mobile Momentum by Message Systems is a single-platform solution that enables multi-channel communications by sending and receiving SMS messages and according to the customer preferences and company rules, dynamically transforms them to e-mail messages. It is a scalable and customizable solution that helps the companies in ensuring that the right message gets delivered at the right time and place, and also streamlines their operation and lowering costs that is helpful in enriching the customer experience.

The European continent has seen a high rise in the volume of SMS messaging within the recent years, and a number of companies such as ContactLab have been deploying the medium for carrying out their direct marketing initiatives, and offering cost-efficient options to their customers. ContactLab will leverage Mobile Momentum in providing integrated reporting on SMS and e-mail results, which will further improve insight into channel performance and customer behavior.

In the words of Massimo Fubini, chief executive officer at ContactLab, the company needed a more comprehensive solution that would allow its customers to benefit from receiving coordinated SMS and e-mail messages, leading to accelerate its growth. Fubini continued that having worked with Message Systems for two years, ContactLab knew of the company’s technical expertise and ability to deliver high-performing solutions; and making the decision to implement its Mobile Momentum platform was easy, since the company had no doubt that Message Systems would deliver what it needed.

According to David Harvey, vice president of business development and partners at Message Systems, with Mobile Momentum, the potential of multi-channel communications has been unlocked for ContactLab, as customer communications can now seamlessly be initiated in one channel and continue into another. Harvey noted that this implementation is not only a continuation of Message Systems’ successful relationship with ContactLab, but also a harbinger of things to come for the company in Europe, as more European companies are realizing the benefits of Mobile Momentum.

In July 2010, Message Systems announced that Epsilon, a multichannel marketing services firm, selected the company to support its message management needs.
