Sigmaview Capital Sdn. Bhd. and Valimo Wireless (News - Alert) have signed an agreement concerning a mobile signature pilot in Malaysia.

 

Sigmaview is the owner of MSC Trustgate, a provider of Internet trust solutions and the qualified licensed CA (Certification Authority) in Malaysia. MSC (News - Alert) has begun to expand its service offering to other Asian countries, such as Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

 

According to Tapio Vailahti, CEO of Valimo, the cooperation with Sigmaview Capital Sdn. Bhd. and their plans to operate a large scale pilot establish a firm beachhead for Valimo in this geographic region.

 

“We are honored to work with one of the local key players offering CA (News - Alert) and other PKI-related services. I see good signs ahead in East Asia for Sigmaview and Valimo,” said Vailahti in a statement.

 

Bistamam Siru Abdul Rahman, the managing director of Sigmaview Capital and Chairman of MSC Trustgate noted that their recently launched MyTRUST service which provides for secure transactions on the mobile platform will encourage even more mobile application services in the financial and government sector.

 

He added that the provision of mobile application and signature service of MyTRUST will allow the market for mobile banking and mobile commerce in the region to take off effectively.
