Partners Creating More Accelerate Tools for Oracle CRM on Demand

High demand from organizations of all sizes for Oracle's (News - Alert) enterprise-class Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Applications hasledto an increase in partner-created Oracle Accelerate tools for Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle officials reported.

Since the first Oracle Accelerate tool for Oracle CRM On Demand debuted in September 2009, 23 Oracle PartnerNetwork Partners have created 31 Oracle CRM On Demand products for midsize customers across industry verticals, company officials said.

Oracle CRM On Demand is a subscription-based CRM for sales, service, marketing and contact-center operations that enables companies to streamline mission-critical business processes. Oracle Accelerate is Oracle's approach to provide rapid implementation business software solutions to midsize organizations.

In September, TMC (News - Alert) hadthenews that Oracle is continuing to expand its offerings for midsize customers, since its partners have introduced more than 45 Oracle Accelerate products for midsize organizations in the last six months.

Oracle Accelerate Solution offerings continue to be expanded beyond ERP to use products such as Oracle CRM On Demand, Oracle Essbase and Oracle Hyperion performance management applications. Accelerate offerings include Oracle's enterprise-class software delivered with business accelerators by expert implementers.

Oracle Business Accelerators are generally described by Oracle officials as “rapid implementation tools, templates and industry- and geography-specific leading practice process flows to help dramatically reduce implementation time, complexity, cost and risk.” Oracle Business Accelerators are now certified on HP hardware platforms, Linux and UNIX, giving Oracle partners greater implementation speed.

Accelerate partners offer Oracle CRM On Demand in North America and Europe with predefined industry- and geography-specific configurations to support the needs of companies in multiple industries, Oracle officials say, including consumer goods, financial services, healthcare, high technology, insurance, life sciences, manufacturing, media and entertainment, professional services, travel and transportation, utilities, and wholesale distribution.
