Annecto Selects DIGITALK's SBC VoIP Peering Application

By Rahul Arora, TMCnet Contributor

Annecto has revealed that DIGITALK will be its new platform provider for wholesale services after an extensive competitive review. DIGITALK (News - Alert) will provide its SBC VoIP Peering application to Annecto, according to the agreement. A highly scalable and robust, end-to-end solution for international VoIP wholesale services, SBC VoIP Peering (News - Alert) application is based on DIGITALK’s Session Border Controller.

With DIGITALK SBC VoIP Peering solution, Annecto will be able to perform least-cost, quality and margin-based routing to support both superior service levels and operational profitability.

“Annecto prides itself on using leading technology to guarantee a first class service and it was essential we went with proven technology, said Vj Odedra, Annecto CEO, in a statement. “We really like DIGITALK’s overall ethos and simplicity of the concept – being plug and play, everything in one place, a direct support team, and a development future already mapped out. Everything has been well thought out to suit the needs of the operator and its customers. It is a perfect fit.”

SBC VoIP Peering solution contains integral software-based transcoding that expands the carrier routing options available. As a result, the need for third-party integration is eliminated, giving the application an edge over alternative solutions.

Odedra also commended the VoIP Peering Manager, DIGITALK Web management interface, saying “Its slick – the Apple (News - Alert) of the industry – a good-looking, user-friendly, straight forward application to manage.”

“Not only do we address the squeeze on margins from the relentless market change with our advanced functionality, but we’ve also introduced a set of intuitive and powerful management features in a single user interface,” said Justin Norris, DIGITALK’s CEO, in a recent press release. “We’re confident we’ve cured a few headaches in one go and provide our customers with the tools to have a very powerful operation.”
