In a bid to deliver their customers more flexible options, T-Mobile (

Alert) USA Inc. has announced it will change its policy for customers entering into service contracts.
Included as part of the new guidelines from the company, which are expected to be finalized and introduced in the first half of 2008, early termination fees (ETFs) will decline over the course of the customer's contract.
The new guidelines will be for new and renewing customers to T-Mobile USA services and are a bid to improve customer experiences and provide a competitive advantage that further strengthens customer loyalty for T-Mobile.

This announcement builds on our heritage of listening closely to our customers and always striving to meet their needs," Sue Nokes, senior vice president, Sales and Customer Service, T-Mobile USA commented.
T-Mobile ranked highest in J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Wireless Customer Care Performance Study—Volume 2, holding the top spot for the sixth consecutive year and with a particularly high customer care score over other wireless carriers.
Most recently, the company announced they joined the One Laptop Per Child program and will offer one year of complimentary HotSpot
access to people who donate an XO laptop to a child in a developing country as part of the company's Give-One-Get-One campaign.
