Bluedelta Launches Green Upgrade of MILESTONE CAT5-Video System
By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributing Editor
After the success of its award-winning MILESTONE CAT5-Video system, Bluedelta has launched a more environment-friendly upgrade, MILESTONE 2.0.
Developed for both business and individuals, the MILESTONE 2.0 can be used in various applications ranging from home entertainment to video surveillance. All these have upgraded functionalities from the previous version. The new solution is an alternative to SCART or UHF leads that can’t handle great distances while offering high quality picture, according to the company.
In addition to the upgraded functionalities, the MILESTONE 2.0 requires 30% less current to operate, Bluedelta stated in a press release.
With CAT5 cabling, video signal can be transmitted across extremely long distances at a very low material cost. Unlike wireless systems, this method ensures that there is no increase in the back-ground radiation and no cross-interference with wireless LANs.
The flexible and modular system cable system components can either be used individually or grouped together. As a result, large scale multi-outlet systems can be created from simple point-to-point links.
