Voice2Phone's New Reseller Program Features Software Based on SIP, VoIP

Voice2Phone, one of the top suppliers of auto dialer software, announced Monday that it has introduced a reseller program which will allow third-party vendors to sell and distribute its results-drive auto dialer technology. The program offers a commission on each product sold, while also allowing resellers to rebrand the product.

Voice2Phone’s auto dialer software is voice over IP (VoIP)-based, allowing it to make more calls per hour than with systems based on other dialling methods. The software is also based on session initiation protocol (SIP) standards, allowing it to be used with SIP phones, ensuring greater flexibility and ease of use since the system can be accessed via familiar hardware.

Voice2Phone's software is capable of making upwards of 20 calls simultaneously to landline phones, cell phones and SIP phones. Answering machines are also no problem as the software is programmed to wait until it detects the beep before leaving a recorded message. Companies using a typical 30-second message can expect volumes of about 60 calls per hour on a single line.

Voice2Phone’s reseller program includes two versions of its auto dialer software, Voice Broadcasting Auto Dialer edition and Auto Dialer Operator, while other versions — Auto Dialer Professional edition — do exist but aren't available for resale.

Voice Broadcasting Auto Dialer edition is limited to delivering pre-recorded messages but it is also capable of responding to key presses and vocal responses, allowing for some feedback.

Auto Dialer Operator edition expands on this, allowing for live operators to interact with individuals who have been dialed by the software. This system can also transfer from a pre-recorded message to a live operator in response to keypad entries.

Vice2Phone’s software requires only Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows, an Internet connection and a computer with a sound card to operate but can be integrated into a larger system, including VoIP and SIP phone systems.

In other industry news, Panasonic recently unveiled its latest addition the SIP phones lineup – the KX-UT248-B Executive Desk Phone (News - Alert). With its countless user-friendly features such as an easy-to-read screen, soft keys and an XML interface for implementation of Internet applications, and its built-in Bluetooth headset support, the SIP phone has unabashedly already become a smash hit.

“People are really excited by it,” Kim Murtagh, product manager, SIP Endpoints, Panasonic (News - Alert) System Networks Company of North America, told TMCnet. “The phone is a really nice ergonomic display and design. It incorporates the similar design of our other phones where it’s more of a boxy type of feel, but it has such a large display and all of the soft keys. It really allows for that executive type feel. We have amped it up a bit, bringing in more functionality that we feel is necessary for an executive level phone.”
