Telkonet Tapped as Master Agent for AmericInn Hotels

Telkonet (News - Alert), Inc. announced that it has been selected as a master agent to provide wireless Internet access services to AmericInn hotels. The company operates a large hospitality high-speed Internet access or HSIA network in the United States.

According to company sources Telkonet’s EthoStream Hospitality Network was selected owing to its successful network deployments in several corporate managed and franchised locations over the past five years. Telkonet has served over 176,000 users who accessed the EthoStream Hospitality Network at an AmericInn hotel.

The EthoStream Remote Management Console helps in the monitoring of the performance of each location from a single application thereby ensuring a consistent and high-quality Internet experience at all locations. AmericInn owns over 215 hotels located in 22 states, and it strives continuously to provide optimum customer service besides providing amenities suitable for the needs of travelers.

This selection of the EthoStream Hospitality Network as a master agent for AmericInn’s property-wide wired and wireless Internet connectivity is expected to serve guests better by providing connectivity, said Telkonet sources.

Howard Anderson, vice president at Three Rivers Hospitality, which manages AmericInn’s 21 corporately run properties said, “We continue to be very pleased with the outstanding level of service and support from EthoStream. From our new build properties to our existing properties, the reliability of the EthoStream Hospitality Network has been excellent.”

“Installation of the equipment has been completed in a professional manner, the training is always thorough, and the guest support has been well received. We will continue to choose EthoStream for our future projects,” Anderson added.

Company sources added that Telkonet will initiate property improvements such as the installation of the Telkonet SmartEnergy solution in AmericInn properties helping it achieve significant energy savings and cost reductions besides having a positive environmental impact.
