Online Tech Adds Network Connectivity from Qwest Communications

Mid-west data center operator Online Tech, has added network connectivity from Qwest Communications.

Designed with the latest advances in network technology for speed and efficiency, Qwest's (News - Alert) broadband network spans more than 173,000 route miles globally. Qwest, a Tier 1 provider, has an established reputation for network reliability and award-winning network performance, according to a press release.

This addition provides Online Tech with access to a large and technically advanced data networks. Also, this investment allows Online Tech to offer more reliable and more robust network connectivity to their clients.

Online Tech owns and manages premier mid-west managed data centers. The company boats a full range of colocation, managed dedicated server, and private cloud hosting offerings, and leverages them to help its clients dramatically reduce IT data center costs, operational risks and downtime.

Earlier this year, IBM (News - Alert), a multinational computer, technology and IT consulting corporation, signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract with Qwest Communications for management of the company's information technology operations.
