Cloud Communications Testable on Google's Nexus S

Perfecto Mobile, a provider of the Mobile Handset Cloud for testing and monitoring of mobile applications, has announced the expansion of its Public Handset Cloud testing platform to include Google's Nexus S.




Google's Nexus S is the first Android (News - Alert) device operating the latest Android operating system version 2.3 (Gingerbread). Perfecto Mobile is claimed to be the first mobile testing company to enable customers to test their apps and Web sites on the Nexus S.

The expansion is in line with Perfecto Mobile's (News - Alert) efforts to recognize the need for developers and testers for them to quickly accessing the latest mobile devices, company officials said.

This will be good news for enterprises and telecom operators across the world who are seeking to harness the power of cloud communications.

Perfecto Mobile’s Handset Cloud is a software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert))-based mobile application testing solution used by enterprises, carriers and developers worldwide to get access to real mobile handsets.

By expanding the platform, Perfecto Mobile will support the testing and quality assurance needs of enterprises and telecom operators. The company’s automation technology provides enterprises with the industry’s comprehensive mobile testing automation solution.

The company claims that the testing solutions make complete testing coverage of complex applications easy through the use of high-level scripting and advanced OCR features.

Recently, Perfecto Mobile announced the extension of its remote device testing service to the Sony Ericsson (News - Alert) developer community.
