Innpu Communications' Intros the First Ever Wired Cell Phone

By Mini Swamy, TMCnet Contributor

With the entry of the Blackberry and iPhone (News - Alert), a wave of software features and value-added services has gradually been making its way into the market, with hardware hardly making any contributions.

Innpu Communication Technology Co., Ltd has decided to set that straight by developing the world's first "wired cell phone". The concept is supposed to change the way users access cell phone and is expected to lessen the effects of mobile phone radiation.

The mobile phone has built-in retractable headphone. Whenever a call is received, all that needs to be done is to pull out the built-in headphone line and start talking. Once the call is over, the headset and headphone will automatically retract.

This concept is supposed to reduce the risk caused by cell phone radiation, and free the users hands at the same time.

On the face of it, this device appears to be rather simple, in reality however, Innpu states that it spent five years gathering multinational technology experts to develop the polymer materials and the new composite materials that are used.

A continuous process of innovation was on to ensure that the new headphone line surpassed the ordinary headphone winding capability. An effort was also on to overcome module size constraints, which could affect ease of use and speed.

Innpu has already obtained proprietary intellectual property protection for this technology in the European Union, China, the U.S., Japan and many other countries and regions. Innpu management believes that this technology can hardly be copied.

Although there is a lot of controversy surrounding the impact of mobile phone radiation on human health, it is generally believed that exposure to radio waves may have a negative impact on brain function.

Innpu hopes that this invention will change the way a mobile phone is used. The prevalent Bluetooth headset technology requires headsets to be frequently charged and it is believed that it is not widely used. Innpu has said that it is about to change all that with its new "wired phone" concept.

In the near future, Innpu expects to extend the concept to iPads, notebooks, and other small mobile network terminals, including MP4, MP5, and other music video terminals.
