Glowpoint's Laezza to Address State of Industry at InfoComm 2010

Joe Laezza (News - Alert), president and Co-CEO of Glowpoint, Inc., will be a featured industry speaker during the Interactive Multimedia Collaborative Communications Alliance (IMCCA) State of the Industry Lunch & Learn during InfoComm 2010, the largest pro-AV event in the world.

"It's always great when experts from around the world gather in one arena to share information and develop ideas for video conferencing technology," Laezza said. Laezza will join other senior executives and industry experts as they address the latest issues in collaborative conferencing on June 9, from 12:30-2 p.m. in Room N219. With more than 17 years experience in the telecommunications industry - the past six of which have been with Glowpoint - Laezza will field questions about the collaborative uses for HD video and telepresence.

Glowpoint, a leading supplier of managed video services for telepresence and video conferencing, also will host live demonstrations of several technologies from booth N1727 in the Conferencing Pavilion of the Las Vegas Convention Center during the show, which takes place from June 9-11.

Additionally, Glowpoint will be exhibiting a number of services from the Exhibit Floor, including:

• A demonstration of Glowpoint's Video-in-the-Cloud managed service platform, which includes a secure, redundant and easily accessible mix of hardware, software and support services.
• Live demonstrations of the company's new proprietary Video Room Sweep (VRS), an automated diagnostic application that automatically performs comprehensive 'sweeps' and emulations of video sessions for all components of telepresence and video conferencing rooms. Designed to offer a more automated and scalable proactive level of managed service, VRS ensures higher in-use rates of video technology, resulting in predictable performance and a higher return on investment.
• Video network operations center (VNOC) demonstrations that will feature both show room scheduler and call launching features. Glowpoint's VNOC services support more than 140 telepresence video locations, as well as thousands of HD and SD conferencing rooms.
• A demonstration of on demand/ad hoc video conferencing.
• Live business-to-business (B2B) and interoperability calls will be enabled.
• Demonstrations of both Live to TV and Live to Web Broadcast will be held, featuring Glowpoint's IP-based broadcast solutions for leading sports broadcasters, sports leagues, news outlets, cable stations, and collegiate conferences.

 Glowpoint also will host its annual partner appreciation party (PAP) at the Revolution (News - Alert) Lounge in The Mirage Hotel & Casino from 8-12 on Thursday evening, June 9.
