Copper Conferencing Launches Free iPhone App, Copper Mobile

The launch of Copper Mobile, a free audio conferencing application for the Apple iPhone (News - Alert) was announced by Copper Conferencing. The iPhone users will be given instant connections to conference calls by Copper Mobile. Users will be able to locate Copper's nationwide local dial in numbers with Copper Mobile along with a link to Copper's On Demand audio conferencing commands.

According to Carolyn Bradfield, CEO of Copper Conferencing, Copper Mobile, one of the first of Copper's new applications for mobile devices, is available immediately to the Copper On Demand customers using the iPhone. This will be followed by availability to other mobile applications including the Blackberry device, added Bradfield.

Travelling professionals will be able to easily host or join a conference call with one touch using the Copper Mobile. Integrated with Copper's Nationwide Local Dial-In service, iPhone users will be able to quickly locate a local number in their area to either initiate or attend a conference call with Copper Mobile. Launched in March 2010, the Copper Nationwide Local Dial-In service provides a lower rate for On Demand audio conferences each time customers use a local dial-in number.

According to Bradfield, for consumers on move, fumbling for the dial in number and conference ID on the cell phone can be distracting. Bradfield added that Copper Mobile will connect in a single click to a conference call. Consumers can store all call connection information along with other audio conferences they regularly attend.

Bradfield concluded that Copper Mobile will be expanded to the Blackberry and all Nokia (News - Alert) devices in the coming months. Currently Copper Mobile is available as a free download from the Apple iTunes store. Copper Mobile is also available at www.copperconferencing.com.

Easy-to-use conferencing tools for simpler collaboration are provided by Copper Conferencing. New features have been added to Copper's On Demand audio conferencing services. They include Nationwide Local Dial-In, additional call controls, new security features, sub-conferencing capabilities and the ability to add personalized greetings to each call.
