Business Phone Service Provider JoiBiz Intros Teleconferencing Service

By Amy Tierney, TMCnet Web Editor

In response to numerous partner requests, JoiBiz, an Atlanta-based communications solution provider has introduced a separate teleconferencing service that customers can personalize and tailor to their specific needs.

As companies continue to cut travel cost, companies now more than ever rely on telecommunications. Teleconferencing lets companies have telephone meetings with employees, customers and vendors from around the world, Joe Egosi, CEO of JoiBiz, told TMCnet in an interview. Unlike Web conferencing, callers can join a conference by phone from anywhere, even when Internet or computers are unavailable.

“JoiBiz teleconferencing allows business people to meet and discuss issues without the cost of travel,” Egosi said. “Callers can call in to the system from anywhere in the world, without tying up the company receptionist, or company phone lines.”

The business phone service provider initially included JoiBiz Teleconferencing with JoiBiz Hosted PBX (News - Alert) back in November 2009. But the company decided to offer the service separately after receiving a number of requests from partners and VARs, Egosi said.

With JoiBiz Teleconference, customers pay $1.95 per month for their own dedicated, local conferencing numbers. JoiBiz offers telephone numbers in most U.S. cities, as well as international numbers in 40 countries worldwide. Or customers can pay $2.95 per month for a dedicated toll free number.

One of JoiBiz’s unique services is that the company simplifies communications and the billing of communications service, Egosi said. JoiBiz Teleconference’s per minute rate is one of the lowest, the company said, at two cents per minute. In addition, there are no minimum minutes purchase requirements or no minimum contracts.

“JoiBiz makes communications simplified,” Egosi said.
