BT Conferencing Enhances Online PresenceBy Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor BT Conferencing, a provider of audio, video and Web collaboration services has announced it revised its Web site: www.btconferencing.com.
With this newly revamped site, customers of BT (News - Alert) Conferencing have the ability to schedule, change or cancel all conferences including audio, Web and video in a single global portal.
Aaron McCormack, CEO of BT Conferencing, said, “We listened to our customers in designing this new, intuitive interface for them. Ease of use, greater functionality, and the ability for customers to quickly and easily set up new accounts are all benefits we factored into the design. This new customer portal is part of our drive to help customers get the most from their conferencing services.”
Previously, executives had to travel extensively to build and maintain business relationships. This resulted in lots of meetings and time spent away from home and family. Video conferencing capabilities have changed all that while also reducing environmental impacts and increasing productivity for users.
BT Conferencing also recently announced the availability of Engage Tracker, a travel and carbon savings tool that helps companies document monetary savings resulting from the use of video conferencing. With real-time reporting capabilities, the tool is able to calculate employee travel costs avoided through the use of video conferencing, as well as carbon emission reductions resulting from reduced travel.
