TelCentris Inc.'s VoxOx Brings Consumers First "Universal Communicator Service"By Jessica Kostek, TMCnet Channel Editor “Imagine me and you, I do. I think about you day and night, it's only right…so happy together!” After learning about TelCentris, Inc.’s new unified communications solution you might have that song stuck in your head too. TelCentris, Inc. a unified communications solutions and telecommunications provider, serving the needs of carriers, enterprises and consumers, announced that it has launched a free public beta of its consumer service, VoxOx, unifying today’s key communication channels — voice, video, IM, text, social media, e-mail, fax and more — into a single, intuitive user interface.
VoxOx combines Internet-telephony/VoIP solutions, interoperable Instant Messengers (IMs), social networking aggregators, inbound call management programs all currently for free.
Targeted more towards Millenials and GenXers, VoxOx can be used by anyone, regardless of age. Some key capabilities and features of the VoxOx solution are:
“We are connected to so many people through so many channels that communication is becoming increasingly unmanageable in today’s media-centric society,” said Bryan Hertz, CEO of TelCentris. “The typical consumer, ages 14 to 45, wakes up and moves from Facebook, to Skype, to Blackberry or iPhone (News - Alert), to Gmail and Google Talk, to MySpace, to YouTube to Yahoo Messenger, to a landline phone, and then back again. This communications frenzy has created a need for a single tool to manage all connections and contacts so that consumers can take control of their interconnected lifestyle. That’s why we’ve created VoxOx!”
“Disparate communication tools are converging and it’s becoming apparent that the most open, interoperable and easiest-to-use service will be the most successful,” said Keith Nissen, senior analyst at In-Stat (News - Alert). “From what I've seen, VoxOx looks very promising.”
VoxOx is software application with the capability to run on Windows and Macintosh OS. Its telephony services are provided via the Internet. For more information or to download VoxOx, visit www.voxox.com.
